You may know that flying on an airplane is exponentially worse for the environment than driving in your car. But, sometimes, you just have to get somewhere. At least when you fly commercial (i.e., not in your swanky private jet) the plane is full of people, so that the environmental costs are spread among hundreds of people. Unless you're Mariah Carey.
