100 Little Robots Perform the Most Adorable Little Dance Number

Getting relatively jiggy with it.

Not all advancements in artificial intelligence offer a terrifying glimpse into the impending Robot Wars; some are just plain cute. This week, for example, saw a synchronozed dance routine by 100 “humanoid” robots in Tokyo. The 2.2 pound, 1-foot tall automatons shook their stuff as part of the ‘100 Robi’ project, Japanese inventor Tomotaka Takahashi’s attempt to design a large number of ‘bots at a relatively low cost (around $1,500 apiece).
