You haven’t seen cute until you’ve seen electrically-powered, hydraulically-actuated cute.
Boston Dynamics, the engineering and robotics design company owned by Google, has released this video of Spot, their new robot “dog.” Spot moves with incredible naturalism, and at one point even prances like a show dog. More impressive than Spot’s natural movement though, is the way Spot refuses to back down when a couple of science bullies try to kick it over. Stay up, Spot. It gets better.
