Reinventing the Outdoors contest: Six inspiring nonprofits are unleashing their best celebrity champion to go head-to-head for $50K. Who will win?

For the last few weeks, GOOD has been partnering with the 2011 Ford Explorer to present the Reinventing the Outdoors contest. We've been showcasing six inspiring nonprofit organizations that have been making the world better by redefining the way we live, work, and play outdoors. All of these organizations are also in the running to win a $50,000 grant to continue their good work.
Of course, it’s not an easy job to save the planet and win this contest, but luckily each of these nonprofits have a secret superhero weapon: a fierce celebrity warrior. From May 16 through May 20, each group will be unleashing their best celebrity champion to help them earn the most votes from the GOOD community. These celebrities might be famous actors, athletes, and comedians by day, but for this competition, they won't be taking any prisoners when they go head-to-head for their cause.
