Coming late to the game, the State Department started an official blog yesterday and sarcastic potshots spread in the comments like a thousand points of light.
They're playful:
"Will Condi be posting periodically, sharing tips on diplomacy and negotiating and what not? You guys still do that, right?"
They're incredulous:
"You have GOT to be kidding!! I'd tell you what I really think of your circa '99 great blog experiment, but I'm afraid of being wiretapped and put under surveillance."

They're hilarious.
We wonder if wonky debates will flourish in the comments as the detractors get bored.
