Triumph, The Insult Comic Dog Talks to Young Voters

TRIGGER WARNING

via YouTube

Microaggressions, safe spaces, gender-neutral pronouns, trigger warnings, mansplaining… many American college campuses have embraced these concepts in hopes of fostering greater tolerance throughout society. Taken to extreme, however, they can run the risk of hindering clear, rational communication.

To point out some pitfalls that may accompany an extra senstive culture, the most politically-incorrect canine of the comedy world, Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog sat down to discuss the topic with students at the University of New Hampshire. The Robert Smigel-voiced puppet dog demonstrates how label-free language can be problematic in certain ways, and does so in the most hilarious ways possible.

WARNING: Video contains raw language and a puppet doing inappropriate things to a girl’s leg.
