Death and Taxes 2010

Another year, another awesome poster from Jess Bachman showing how the United States government spent our taxes. As usual, we spend huge amounts of money on defense-related stuff. It was $664 billion this year.

Elsewhere, budgets are up at the Department of State (13 percent) and the Environmental Protection Agency (20 percent). And they're down 9 percent at the Department of Homeland Security.

And check this out: The budget for the "Executive Office of the President" is up 96 percent. That's not going to look good to the Tea Partiers (and I have some questions about it myself, actually).
