Some highlights:
-In a remote corner of the budget, called "other agencies," we notice the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's funding was cut 25% to $.35 billion. This American Life: now in only one act.
-The president's office budgeted $1 billion dollars for itself for "unanticipated needs." Is that bureaucratese for "whims"?
-Bill for the Department of Defense plus the "War on Terror": $626 billion.
