Awesome: A Glass and Bamboo Toaster That Lets You Watch Your Toast Burn

For those of us who aren’t especially handy around the kitchen, it’s not uncommon for a simple act like making toast to result in a piece of inedible crust, charred and smoky. That’s why I love this bamboo and glass toaster, a concept designed by James Stumpf for his series of sustainable kitchen appliances. The unique toaster, made from sustainable glass and bamboo, joins a kitchen mixer and a blender, in Stumpf’s set of fashionable bamboo-based kitchenware.
