(See, for example, the mess made out of Appalachia, and the work being done to fix it, for proof.) Anyway, I was delighted to see that our friends at Witness have uploaded a special Earth Day video they've been working on, about the interconnectedness of environmental devastation and the impact it has on people all over the world. All the interviews were done this month, and show pressing, ongoing concerns in a handful of different countries.
