Supreme Ban

Bush's new appointees to the Supreme Court flexed their muscles for the first time today, upholding a ban on a rare form of third trimester abortions (called, by some, partial-birth abortions). Justice Alito joined the majority, whereas his predecessor, Sandra Day O'Connor had voted against a partial birth abortion ban in 2000.
