Texas Legislature Is A Circus

Wow. The Texas Legislature is out of hand. Witness below: representatives vote as often as...well, as often as they want, it seems.

Once they call for a vote these folks just reach for whatever buttons they can find. An uncomfortable mix of hilarious and dispiriting.

And the kicker: the legislature is televised but they cut away from the floor when the voting goes down.

The law specifically states that voting by proxy is not kosher. It kind of makes sense that Karl Rove came from a state where there's this kind of mass scramble to brazenly break the law during every vote.

We better check Sacramento before we cast stones though.
