Over the weekend, The Huffington Post ran a nice little piece about students at Prairie View A&M University, a largely black school in a very gerrymandered part of Texas. It seems that the students' polling place had been located more than seven miles from their school. But, taking a cue from their famous marching band, they walked proudly (and loudly) to cast their ballots.
