This morning, while inching westward along a crowded stretch of a West Hollywood boulevard, we could hear the sound of NPR's Day to Day. After the conclusion of a nostalgia-wrapped piece on Ford's Model T, the topic of discussion shifted to that of the presidential election. Mentioning a newish pro-McCain ad that bemoans the media's love affair with Barack Obama (below), Juan Williams explained that history will look back at this election's media coverage with disdain and harsh criticism.
In other news, Ben Stein and Glen Beck (who are members of the media) recently compared Obama to such 20th century authoritarian dictators as Hitler, Peron, and Mussolini.
