Over at Foreign Policy they have ranked the years of this decade from best to worst, with no justification or explanation; simply a departure point for discussion. I don't know if it's the season or the weather, but only two people have chimed in. A more likely explanation: this list is pretty much spot on. But it's fun to see what events and adjectives your mind assigns to each year on the list (kind of like Phillip Niemeyer did with this op-chart for The New York Times, excerpted above) . Here it it:
