Not Cot's Marc Newson manages to stave off the boredom that usually accompanies a lengthy flight: by turning the journey into an art project. The latest edition to the "Operation Window Seat" photography series features lovely images taken thousands of feet above the earth during the trans-Atlantic (and trans-American) flight from Los Angeles to Paris. The shadows on the various curves and folds of mountain (and those below clouds on the coastlines) are particularly lovely.
