Unknown Tourism Commemorates Extinct Species With Vintage-Looking Posters

Tuesday was World Animal Day, a time to “raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe,” according to its mission statement. Started in 1925 by Henrich Zimmerman, the day is celebrated around the globe with events dedicated to making the world a better place for animals. In commemoration of this special day, Expedia UK has released a series of fictional travel posters commemorating some of the incredible animals we’ve lost and are in danger of forgetting. Inspired by the air travel advertisements of the 1930s to 1950s, this series called Unknown Tourism features posters commemorating the dodo, golden toad, giant galliwasp and more.

Unfortunately, we often come across racist people who look for opportunities to put others down. 33-year-old Makayla Starks went to get her car serviced at Kunes Buick GMC in Oak Creek, per PEOPLE. Unfortunately, she returned to find her car with a sticker holding a racist comment. Looking for ways to keep focus, Cirillo took a tomato-shaped kitchen timer and set it for a few minutes. During that time, he focused solely on studying until he heard the timer go off. He found that this approach made it easier for him to concentrate.
