Solange Performs Live In Oakland Tonight For GOODFest

Solange is performing a special concert with GOOD tonight in Oakland. Watch it here!

Tonight is a historic moment for fans of live music in Oakland, as Solange Knowles takes the stage to perform songs from her most recent album, A Seat At The Table. The Grammy-nominated singer is headlining the show as part of GOODFest, which launched the series of shows in five cities around the U.S. to raise funds and awareness for various causes.

The theme for tonight’s show is Equality and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Ella Baker Center in Oakland which, “channels resources that promote healing and opportunity to the communities most harmed by policing and prisons,” and the Louisiana-based Son of a Saint.

The show will take place at the Starline Social Club, a 400-seat-venue offering a rare intimate setting for fans of Knowles. Solange will be joined onstage by Oakland hometown favorite Fantastic Negrito and Kelsey Lu.

For the vast majority of people out there who won’t be able to see the concert in person, it will be live-streamed through GOOD’s Facebook page and YouTube Live accounts.
