Instituto Pró-Livro is an organization striving to increase literacy in Brazil. For International Book Day last week, they printed stories and illustrations from various Brazilian authors and artists onto 500 kites. While the kites were airborne, the strings were cut, allowing them to eventually float down to the ground and into the hands of, ideally, a child who would be curious enough to spend a few minutes reading the kite.
