After Trump Mocked a Reporter, These Disabled People Are Fighting Back Through Humor

“If I offend you, get out of my country, but if you offend me, I demand an apology.”

At a campaign rally on November 24, America’s bully-ionaire Donald Trump made headlines for mocking New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski. Kovaleski has a chronic condition called arthrogryposis, which affects the movement of his arms. During his speech, Trump made immature, spastic gestures while impersonating Kovaleski’s voice. Kolvaeski had provoked Trump’s ire after challenging his assumption that Muslims cheered in New Jersey after the 9/11 attacks.

To get back at Trump, a group of people with various disabilities came together to roast him in a video created by BuzzFeed. Although Trump regularly insults women, minorities, Muslims, and now the disabled, he’s known for having a very thin skin. “If I offend you, get out of my country, but if you offend me, I demand an apology,” one of the roasters says.
