In this new video from SoulPancake, they set out to explore what stops people from going after their dreams. They assumed the normal concerns about money, time, and motivation would be very prevalent, but the most common answer—fear—surprised them. The six people highlighted in the video are breaking through that fear and aspiring to achieve their goals no matter how daunting a task that might be. In doing so, they are giving hope to anyone out there longing for something more.

Many people, through the media and our culture in general, seem to be determined to slow down the hands of time. Skincare routines and fashion to make us look younger are constantly advertised. Ads for medications, supplements, and diet plans promoting feeling younger are everywhere. While doctors do recommend certain healthcare plans and suggestions to help our bodies function well as we age, the old folks who've reached a “certain age” realized there are some perks to reaching their “golden years.”

In 2023, a woman who turned 108-years-old discussed that one of the perks of being of advanced age is that not only do people treat you well and are friendly toward you, but that “everything is special” since she knows she won’t be around to experience certain small pleasures again. She takes nothing for granted, making her happier than she would’ve been in her early adulthood.

New owners of the beloved 'Home Alone' house want to restore its nostalgic '90s magic

The McCallister house from Home Alone has become synonymous with '90s nostalgia. The sprawling, 9,100-square-foot Colonial, located north of Chicago in Winnetka, Illinois, instantly conjures holiday family chaos and Kevin’s numerous showdowns with the "Wet Bandits." But after the house went on the market in 2024, a lot of fans were shocked by its sleek, modernized look. Now the new owner, who purchased the property for $5.5 million in January, has pledged to restore the colorful vibes we’ve come to associate with the 1990 Macaulay Culkin classic.

Scott Price, project manager behind the renovation, spoke to NBC Chicago about the project, saying, "Our vision is to bring back the warmth and just the love from the movie." The current owner is reportedly paying for the updates, and they appear to be going all the way: "There was so many great colors," Price said of the original aesthetic, "and it just made you feel like family and like home and we want to bring that magic back."
