Patagonian Penguin “Turns Up” For Summer In Brazil

This penguin has struck an unusual friendship with a retired bricklayer in Brazil.

They say opposites attract, right? Oh yes. Off the coast of southeast brazil, a Patagonian penguin has made an extraordinary friendship with a retired bricklayer in a local fishing village.

Check it out:

Four years ago, this penguin turned up on a beach soaked in oil. When a local fisherman took him in and fed him, the two became inseparable. Minus a brief stint in the ocean for 4 months at a time, this penguin returns back to his new home and friend for the rest of the year. If that’s not true love, then I honestly don’t know what is.
