According to a 2015 study, sea levels could rise over 20 feet by the year 2200.
To appreciate the real-world impact this may have, Climate Central teamed with talented designer Nickolay Lamm to show how present-day cities would look with the impending changes in sea levels.
This disturbing slideshow illustrates just how imperative it is to begin reducing CO2 output into our atmosphere ASAP.
