Chrissy Teigen Made A Restaurant Worker's Day With A Staggeringly Large Tip

A 516% tip is pretty generous, right?

While Chrissy Teigen may have made a name for herself as a supermodel, it seems that as her days on the runway draw to a close, she’s in no danger of losing the public’s interest. She’s garnered millions of fans for her social media presence, which tackles social issues, such as the pall cast by the Trump presidency, motherhood, and body positivity. Teigen’s online heroics also included picking up the tab for a stranger’s beauty school tuition.

Now, her charity is back in the spotlight thanks to an enormous tip she gave a server at an Outback Steakhouse in Centerville, Ohio. Mikayla Scott was the lucky recipient of the astronomical gratuity on Oct. 27, but it wasn’t until a week later that the act was documented and shared on social media by a third party.

Something tells me that Teigen didn't have to use a calculator or tip table to arrive at the round $1,000 amount.

The 21-year-old server, in speaking to the Associated Press, said Teigen was accompanied by her young daughter and several others while on a trip to accompany her husband to his hometown to catch a high school football game at his alma mater in Springfield.

Scott told Dayton.com that she recognized Teigen in her section and spent the entire meal concerned that she would make a mistake in serving the supermodel. “I was so nervous I was going to do something wrong,” she said.

It would appear that despite Scott’s nervousness, Teigen thought she did a pretty good job. Scott said she’s going to use the windfall of cash to fix her family’s two cars.
