The NYPD is Apparently Using a Few Broken Windows as an Excuse to Do Some Terrible Things

This video paints a disturbing picture of police brutality and oppression under the practice of “broken window policing.” The social theory is based on the idea that if you let one small incident in a neighborhood go unnoticed, it will eventually lead to complete chaos. The adoption of this concept by the NYPD has led to zero-tolerance policing and a crackdown on minor offenses imposed primarily on minorities in low income neighborhoods.
