Last month, we posed another crowdsourced photo project to the GOOD community: Help us create a Picture Show about celebration. We received all sorts of submissions that capture everything from a child's nervous excitement for the first day of school to packed crowds of soccer fans reveling in Spain's World Cup win last month. win last month. The range of photos certainly made us want to cheer!
Alas, we are unable to highlight all of them, but we did our best to select a handful that we feel best represent the diverse faces of celebration (captions by the photographers). Above, we present to you the collaborative Picture Show created by none other than you, the GOOD community.
Now we need your help: Vote on your favorite submission by commenting below. The winning entry will be announced August 26, featured on our homepage, and printed in the next issue of GOOD. We’ll also send a GOOD T-shirt and a free subscription (or gift subscription) to the winner.
Have at it!
