There are some 600 million cars in the world. Airports in the United States launch tens of millions of flights every year. As a society, we've never been satisfied with staying in one place. In our latest Transparency, we take a look at the way people -from earliest man to the present day and beyond-have been getting from place to place and how long it has taken them to get there.
